River Oaks Baptist School is seeking a dynamic and innovative lower and middle school Physical Education teacher and coach beginning August 2021. This person will lead P.E. classes for lower and middle school students, with responsibility for developing in students an understanding of the relationship between exercise and a healthy body, habits around physical fitness, and knowledge and motor skills through individual, dual, and team physical activities and sports. In addition, this person will serve as assistant field hockey coach and assistant girls lacrosse coach. The person in this position will be a collaborative member of a dedicated P.E. and Athletic Department consisting of an athletic director, a P.E. curriculum coordinator, and eight P.E. teachers and coaches. As with all faculty openings, we seek candidates eager to support our mission of preparing students to meet life's challenges and lead tomorrow's world through a superior educational program undergirded by faith in Jesus Christ and Christian principles.
