This position will involve teaching two sections each of 7th and 8th grade History, which are a two-year survey of American history. Tandem Friends seeks teachers who bring diverse skills, knowledge and interests; a willingness to learn new things; and an appreciation for collaboration with students. At TFS, all teachers are active community members who share in the general support and care of the school community, serve as student advisors, and collaboratively lead service-learning and overnight trips among other activities.
