Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West of Manhattan, seeks an Upper School Physics Teacher to serve students in grades 9-12 beginning  September 2021.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in physics (Master’s degree preferred) and high school physics teaching experience in courses ranging from 9th grade physics through calculus-based  physics.  Understanding and experience with laboratory-based, student-centered instruction is essential.  Interest and experience in teaching electives, and/or supervising student research, is desirable.  The position will involve teaching 9th graders in a physics-first curriculum in addition to the possibility of teaching calculus-based physics.  After a transitional year, the position will include advising a group of 8-12 students.
