Moses Brown seeks a full-time English teacher for the school year 2021-2022. The successful applicant will teach 4 sections of English at multiple levels (9th-12th grade), with specific teaching responsibilities to be determined with the English department.

Working collaboratively with other members of the English department is important to our school culture. In addition, teachers work closely with students outside of the classroom during office hours and for occasional extra help outside of these times.  All full-time teachers also supervise co-curricular activities after school for 2 of the 3 seasons of the academic year.  After the first year at Moses Brown, teachers also serve as advisors for 8-11 students.

To note: Currently, Moses Brown School is in person, offering upper school classes in a hybrid, flexible A/B model. Because no one can predict how long we may be teaching in a revised format, experience teaching in a distance learning and/or a hybrid model is helpful, though not necessary.
