The Foote School is an independent K-9 co-ed day school in New Haven, Connecticut. We aim to endow students with timeless values while providing the thoughtful experiences that will prepare them to learn, lead, and grow in the 21st century; the theater program has a key place in this experience. The successful candidate will be a nurturing flexible person with a strong background in theatre instruction and an understanding of the developmental needs of children. He or she should be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and peers as well as be able to employ a variety of instructional techniques to engage young learners. The successful candidate will have a commitment to our school’s mission, to working collaboratively with others, and to upholding the values of the school community.
