La Lumiere School is excited to welcome applications for the position of Math Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. The ideal candidate would be comfortable teaching intermediate high school mathematics courses and would be passionate about igniting students’ interest in math. As a learning community, our teachers strive to go beyond content mastery in order to help students develop a sense of wonder and an appetite for lifelong learning. To that end, our teachers strive to meet students where they are, differentiate instruction effectively, and support students’ academic and personal growth.

Primary Responsibilities

• Teach five-six sections of classes each semester
• Sponsor/supervise a co-curricular activity during two seasons
• Serve as an advisor to a group of approximately eight students
