Bullis School seeks a Middle School 8th Grade Mathematics Teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year to contribute to our vibrant learning community. Candidates should be capable of teaching a wide range of students, with a specific focus on the development and implementation of a robust and engaging math curriculum for Algebra 1 and Geometry courses. This position involves teaching five classes, as well as co-curricular activities including advising eight to twelve students. Qualified candidates should possess the following education & experience: -
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field (required) -
Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field (preferred) -
Minimum of 2-3 years teaching experience in secondary education (preferred) -
Commitment to using professional role to further the creation of an equitable and inclusive school community -
Ability to create learning environments that encourage risk-taking and deep learning for students with a range of learning abilities using a variety of methods and technology -
Detail-oriented, with the capacity to effectively and efficiently manage numerous small and large tasks -

Development and delivery of highly engaging, innovative lessons that measure progress towards academic standard and provide timely feedback and grades to students -
