Georgetown Day School (GDS) invites nominations and applications for a Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid who can clearly articulate GDS’s mission and distinctions in a competitive market. The Director will serve as an enthusiastic, transparent, and mission-centered ambassador and lead the school’s short- and long-term efforts to attract, enroll, and retain a diverse body of mission-aligned applicant families. The Director will be joining a thriving institution and will oversee a deeply experienced and high-performing team of six other admissions professionals. A member of the senior administration, the Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid works closely with the Head of School and Board of Trustees to provide data-driven insight to inform the school’s enrollment goals. The next Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid will demonstrate proficiency with data collection and analysis, and cultural competence with a commitment to ongoing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts. The Director will provide strategic direction and set policy for enrollment management and financial aid, which includes short- and long-term approaches to admission, marketing, financial aid, and student and family recruitment. Important qualities and qualifications for the Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid include: the ability to generate and maintain sophisticated data models and statistical models; analyze current enrollment trends and use them to inform strategy and decision-making about resource use and planning efforts; provide clear vision and supervisory leadership to the admissions team. A minimum of five years on admission and financial aid experience in an independent school or college, as well as a B.A are required. An M.A. is preferred. The full job description can be found here.
