ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced HR Director with outstanding people and technology skills to manage our human resources programs and to ensure initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall objectives of our organization. As a key member of our leadership team, the HR Director sets the tone for our employee’s experience and acts as a trusted advisor to our entire staff. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a high work ethic, excellent communication skills, knowledge of employment-related regulations and HR practice. The successful candidate will believe in our diversity, equity, and inclusion priorities and have strong strategic thinking abilities, highly effective organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. The candidate should have the demonstrated ability to improve HR processes, implement strategies that support our growth, inspire high performance and engagement, as well as strengthen relationships at all levels of the organization. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Talent Acquisition and Recruiting - Job postings and marketing (advertising, social media, networking, etc.)
- Candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
- Coordinate the interview process with hiring managers.
- Provide support and input on the interview and selection process.
- Coordinate employment offers and pre-employment screening processes.
- Maintain and conduct employee orientation, onboarding, and offboarding programs.
- Maintain appropriate records.
Employee Engagement and Culture - Act as a champion for the organization’s values and culture.
- Promote open communications and feedback processes to engage employees and identify morale issues.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
- Facilitates productive outcomes to employee relations issues.
- Provide guidance and insight to leadership and management on creating a positive work culture.
- Contribute to a team to help create meaningful events and activities to engage and retain employees.
Human Resources Administration: - Coordinate the performance review program.
- Maintain current job descriptions.
- Assists with providing payroll reports and other workforce reports.
- Maintain standard operating procedures and relevant forms and documentation.
- Maintain and administer Human Resources policies. Maintain Employee Handbook. Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Maintain all employment-related legal and regulatory compliance protocols.
- Develop and maintain systems and technology to support benefits, payroll, worker's compensation, and unemployment compensation claims. Manage administrative processes with external parties and third-party providers.
Represents the organization in community or industry safety groups and programs. |
