Manhattan Day School seeks an Executive Director to join our leadership team in fostering a culture of academic excellence, mindful social and emotional learning, and meaningful spiritual development.

The Executive Director is a senior-level leadership position responsible for managing the school’s business and financial operations. The Executive Director should have proven experience in management of a for-profit or non-profit enterprise, including finance, operations, and compliance, as well as supervision of staff, and communication with multiple community stakeholders. Previous school experience and deep knowledge of the Orthodox Jewish community are a big plus. The position calls for a strong, ethical leader who is sensitive to the complex nature of a community school. The Executive Director will work in close partnership with the Head of School, division leaders, and Board and will report directly to the Head of School.
