A PKS Middle School Project Teacher will partner with the Head of the Middle School to design and implement an engaging, interdisciplinary, project-based curriculum. The ideal candidates will be bilingual and bicultural; will have a passion for and experience with middle school children; will prioritize progressive educational aims and interdisciplinary instruction; will understand how to design a program with rigor and flexibility; and, most of all, they will be excited to help co-author a new chapter in the life of an incredible school.
Specific Responsibilities
- Co-author, coordinate, and implement a well-organized and focused

- Teach assigned middle school classes.

- Travel with students on a 10–14-day overnight trip each year.

Qualifications
- BA required, Master’s degree preferred.
- Bilingual and bi-literate in Mandarin Chinese and English with native Mandarin Chinese
- Demonstrated success inspiring middle school
- Background in curriculum design, ideally including a project-based
- Contagious enthusiasm and charisma; the ability to engage and inspire students, parents and
- Experience helping children construct interdisciplinary
- Experience teaching in an independent school setting
