Harpeth Hall seeks an innovative, creative, and collaborative educator as its next dance teacher and artistic director of the Dance Company. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator with a genuine appreciation and respect for girls and young women, with enthusiasm for all aspects of school life. Additionally, the candidate will be an experienced educator with a vision for dance concerts and performances, as well as experience building curriculum.
The dance teacher will support and promote a strong dance program within the context of a robust academic and after-school performing arts program. An ability to promote and implement best practices in dance education for grades 8-12, teach students in grades 5-12, and collaborate with all areas of the performing arts program is essential.
