General Description: The position of Principal/Division Head fulfills the mission of Saint Patrick Academy by focusing on the academic progression and faith formation of all students at Saint Patrick Academy. This is accomplished through the oversight and execution of academic programs. The individual in this role must be a practicing Catholic who serves as a witness to the Catholic faith and can assist in collaborating on the spiritual leadership for Saint Patrick Academy.
Reporting to the Head of School, this person will be the Lower and Middle School’s educational leader, working with the Head in setting and implementing the divisions’ vision. Serving on the school’s Senior Leadership Team, this position works collaboratively to ensure that the School’s mission is executed and clarified, honoring its traditions while imagining what the future can be. The Principal/Division Head is responsible for faculty accountability and professional growth, curriculum alignment and development, scheduling, student accountability, and parental engagement.
The position assists the Head of School in hiring, supervising, and evaluating all primary and enrichment teachers and will oversee the discipline system, communications, and professional development and continuing education. The Principal/Division Head partners with faculty and administration to support students with different learning styles and needs and collaborate with the Student Support and Enrichment team to develop and write student accommodation and learning plans.
This position partners in enrollment management work with the Admission Office and works closely with the Administrative Team to support the School’s mission.
