The Out-of-Door Academy seeks a Receptionist for the Uihlein Campus to join a busy school, operating as the first point of contact, welcoming all incoming students, families and guests respectfully and professionally while responding to inquiries in a helpful and constructive manner.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of US/MS Admissions, the Receptionist for the Uihlein Campus will be responsible for the following:

Answer incoming calls in a pleasant, informed manner for the purpose of screening calls, transferring calls, responding to inquiries and/or taking messages.

Greet employees, guests and vendors requesting entry to campus via gate/intercom system, directing them to check in at the front office as necessary.

Maintain schedule of all activities on the Uihlein campus for purposes of directing guests/visitors appropriately.

Prepare and distribute daily attendance, absence and tardy reports; enter information into the Blackbaud student information system; generate lists, rosters and reports as needed.

Provide administrative assistance for the Admissions department as needed.

Qualifications
Experience, Skills & Knowledge

High school degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience required.

Keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain discretion with respect to confidential information is essential.

Must possess the ability to be extremely accurate and highly organized.

Must be willing to work in a fast-paced office, and be able to manage simultaneous priorities effectively, with exceptional judgment and integrity.

A successful track record of working effectively with a wide range of constituencies including faculty, staff, students, parents and vendors

Exceptional communication skills.

Proficient with technology including Word, Excel, Apple Mac OS and the Google drive platform.

Compensation and Benefits
This is a 12-month full-time non-exempt position beginning in July 2022. Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
