Dawson, a K-12 independent school of 535 students located east of Boulder on a beautiful 112-acre campus, seeks an exceptional Physics Teacher and potentially Robotics Coach for upper school (grades 9-12). Professional Qualifications
- Teaching experience required
- An undergraduate degree in related field of education or physics is required; a graduate degree is preferred
- Strong classroom management skills - growth mindset, creativity, organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Personal warmth and friendliness
- Attitude that exemplifies teamwork and personal responsibility
- Ability to include technology elements into all aspects of instruction -
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters

Duties
- Report to Director of Upper School
- Teach four sections of Physics and Engineering courses and one additional duty (possibly coach the FIRST Robotics team)
- Serve as Advisor
- Participate in class trips and Winterim
- Additional duties as deemed necessary by the School
