POSITION OVERVIEW
The Admission Associate is an essential member of Milken’s Office of Admission, and serves as a public face of admission, promoting Milken to internal and external constituencies. The Milken Admission Office is relationship-based and requires all members of the team to maintain a visible profile on campus, and a warm customer-centered approach. The Admission Associate is responsible for the recruitment and cultivation of prospective families and participates in all admission recruitment events and activities. The Admission Associate reports to the Director of Admission and Enrollment Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Provides friendly and informative customer service for visitors and applicants throughout the admissions cycle and during the rolling admission season.
? Serves as one of the first points of contact for prospective families, gathering information to guide recruitment efforts and assign as needed.
? Participates in the recruit and cultivation of prospective families to ensure the continued growth of the admission pipeline.
? Initiates outreach to broaden the enrollment funnel.
? Leads student and parent interviews.
? Leads student and parent tours.
? Assists with the coordination of student “shadow days.”
? Supports moves management efforts to convert inquiries to enrollment.
? Recruits, trains and manages student ambassador program.
? Manages new family onboarding year-round.
QUALIFICATIONS
? Bachelor’s degree preferred.
? Minimum 5-7 years experience in customer service in a high volume environment.
? Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
? Excellent communications skills, articulate, strong written and verbal language.
? A success-oriented, optimistic approach to the admissions effort, taking initiative to problem solve as needed.
? Ability to work with people from a broad range of cultural and economic backgrounds.
? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to work in a team environment.
? Experience in managing database software, admissions-oriented software is highly preferable.
? Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite of products.
