Alexandria Country Day School is seeking a First Grade classroom teacher for the 2022-23 school year.
Qualified candidates will possess 3-5 years of experience in classroom teaching and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Experience with the Teachers College Reading and Writing Workshop program and Singapore Math is beneficial. The school seeks growth-minded candidates who are skilled, creative, innovative, and adept at employing technology in the classroom. Effective writing and speaking skills, a good sense of humor, a positive outlook, and an appreciation of the unique qualities of the age group are essential.
