About Us
Heilicher is located in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. The school has its own wing on a larger campus shared with the Sabes Jewish Community Center.
Heilicher faculty are responsible for creating a safe classroom environment that helps develop each student’s skills and promotes a growth mindset. Faculty are responsible for developing curriculum, creating lesson plans, grading, delivering classroom instruction, and communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing registration for HaBonim (Heilicher’s after school care program) and various After School activities
- Managing registration system via MySchoolAccount.com
- Tracking and distributing daily attendance lists
- Communicating daily attendance to Office Administrator
- Verifying students in After School activities are signed out
- Collaborating with Athletic Director to establish initial school year program dates, and to obtain accurate rosters/sign-out sheets throughout the year
- Communicating HaBonim, Schools Out (child care on no school dates) , and After School activity programming to Marketing Team
- Promoting registration via email communication to parents and ROAR submissions
- Budgeting and tracking all income/expenses, logging daily HaBonim payments, entering drop-in payments on Heilicher’s P.O.S. computer, and communicating income/expenses to Finance Team
- Managing HaBonim and School’s Out Staff via hiring, training, scheduling, and overseeing programming
- Creating, implementing, and overseeing daily programming for HaBonim and School’s Out days
- Communicating with parents regarding registration (sending out links and reminders), their student’s schedule, and behavior concerns
- Creating and maintaining spaces for various after school activities
- Booking rooms and spaces in advance
- Monitoring and checking-in with all HaBonim and After School Activities
- Providing clear and friendly communication with parents - answering phone messages and emails in a timely manner
- Providing support and solutions for staff when behavioral issues arise.
- Serve as the After school Safety and Emergency Coordinator
- Train HaBonim Staff on all Heilicher after school emergency policies and procedures
