Full Time Teaching Assistant — Wolf Academy

St. Andrew’s School, located in Barrington RI, is recruiting a classroom teaching assistant for the new 

Wolf Academy at St. Andrew’s School. Serving upper school students with complex learning needs, The Wolf Academy employs the highly effective Immersion Model©, which utilizes a team of professionals—special education teacher, speech language pathologist, and occupational therapist—to blend students’ individual speech, language, learning, social, and occupational goals into a robust, personalized academic program. This position will be working with high school students, specifically 9th graders. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, minimum of two years classroom experience with children who have special needs, knowledge of multi-sensory techniques, and knowledge of classroom behavior management and data collection. This position will work with students in various settings, implement a modified therapeutically guided curriculum, and coordinate with team members to facilitate day-to-day operations of the classroom.
