Reporting to the Head of School, the Dean of Students and Residential Life is responsible for leading and managing students’ overall character, personal growth, and well-being. Key expectations of the Dean are to develop and implement the community life program including oversight and training of staff and student leaders, student recognition and discipline, designing and implementing student support plans and the social and emotional learning program. The Dean of Students manages weeknight and weekend duty teams as well as the afternoon activities program. The Dean of Students and Residential Life is responsible for the overall health and well-being of our diverse student body.
Successful applicants have lived and worked in a residential setting in a similar position, have designed and implemented successful student life programs, are collegial and collaborative, able to work independently with high-energy and open communication, and can successfully demonstrate their success working with students in the areas of health, wellness, and growth.
This is a 12-month, full-time administrative position, and will begin July 1, 2022.
