de Toledo High School, a vibrant and innovative independent high school, is seeking a full-time, experienced Database Coordinator. The Database Coordinator is responsible for managing the donor database, gift processing, as well as providing administrative support to the Development Department. The scope of work will include, but not be limited to preparing, coordinating, and supporting all campaigns including the Annual Giving Program, Capital Campaign, and Endowment Campaign. This position requires proficient knowledge of Raiser’s Edge.
Responsibilities:
Database Management
- Input and maintain donor records in Raiser’s Edge.
- Process all donations; prepare and send all donor acknowledgment letters; prepare Quarterly and Year-End donor statements.
- Generate queries, donor reports, exports for mailings, events, Annual Report, analysis, and tracking of fundraising results.
- Create and update dashboards and serve as a database liaison for members of the Development Department.
- Prepare mailing lists for all Development solicitations and events.
- Conduct research on prospective donors.
- Work with the Finance Department on reconciliation/audits.
Administrative Support
- Manage all Development Department mailings, including coordination with the mail house.
- Oversee registration for all Development Department events.
- Attend all Gala-related events (pre-event, day of, committee meetings); prepare agendas, materials, and minutes.
- Work with Marketing and Communications on all Tribute Journal ads and Tribute Journal completion.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency with technology, including Raiser’s Edge, GSuite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive) and Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher), and ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills sufficient to handle multiple projects, details, and deadlines simultaneously; strong ability to prioritize.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct prospect research for corporations and individuals through various means including ResearchPoint.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, self-confident.
- Team player who works well with others.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced dynamic school environment.
- Unquestionable personal integrity, excellent judgment, sound instincts, diplomacy, and patience.
- Enthusiasm for mission and vision of de Toledo High School and strong commitment to embrace and promote its culture.
- Strong familiarity with independent school sector and/or the Jewish community.
