The Agnes Irwin School, an all-girls' Pre-K through 12th-grade independent school in the Philadelphia suburbs, is committed to fostering the intellectual and personal growth of girls and young women. Providing its students with a rigorous academic education, AIS is dedicated to developing each student's highest potential in intellect, character, and physical well-being.
Currently, The Agnes Irwin School is seeking an Annual Giving Officer to join the Development Office. Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Annual Giving Officer will focus on growing annual giving through personal stewardship and donor cultivation, building a strong donor base and inspiring constituents to join the community of giving in support of the mission of AIS.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit individual mid to high level major gift prospects, including those interested in major or planned gifts to the school
- Strengthen the Schools donor base through annual personal solicitations and community wide giving campaigns
- Collaborate with the Director of Alumnae Relations to implement a reunion giving program and strengthen participation of alumnae giving volunteers
- Create and execute a Give Day effort
- Assist in the design and creation of annual fund materials
- Administrate the Senior Class Giving Program
- Oversee the Girls Grant Making Program
Successful candidates will posses:

- Bachelor's degree and two years of fundraising experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of fundraising techniques as well as direct mail and digital marketing skills; excellent writing and public speaking skills
- Strong attention to detail; outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with volunteers and other groups
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to travel on occasion
- Experience working in Raiser's Edge preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and respect different values and viewpoint
