Blue School is currently seeking an experienced, collaborative Spanish language teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. The ideal candidate will bring intelligence, creativity and passion for Spanish language to the Blue School community.
Responsibilities
- Create an inquiry-based classroom environment where students’ ideas are central and skills are deepened through engaging questions and projects
- Plan for and teach Spanish language classes for students in grades K-5th on a weekly basis
- Develop and revise Spanish curriculum, including related resources, assessments, and projects
- Use formative and summative performance-based and standard assessment to guide lesson plan development and implementation
- Work collaboratively and participate actively in faculty meetings and in professional learning teams
- Communicate with students and their families regularly and proactively
- Strong classroom management strategies. Responsive Classroom training helpful.

Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in education or related field
- At least three-five years of full-time K-8 classroom teaching experience
