Winston Online is a co-ed virtual day school for K through 12th grade students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia, nonverbal learning disabilities, ADHD, expressive or receptive language disorders and executive functioning challenges. Winston Online is the newest program offered by the highly successful six campus Winston Preparatory School.
It is important for all children, but especially those who learn differently, to feel understood. Through Winston’s Continuous Feedback System, each child’s learning profile is analyzed and an individualized learning plan is created. Along with a focus on developing the Qualities of Sustainable and Independent Learner (QSIL), we place a great emphasis on making sure all students feel welcome and are immersed within our culture and community. Now, no matter where a child is, Winston’s flexible, individual program is now available online.
We are seeking a self-driven and highly competent director to lead and influence our newest program towards favorable growth, and to design and direct strategies that support and enhance our operations. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Winston Online will be responsible for the operational success of the program. In the near the term the Director will focus on identifying appropriate markets, building a network of referral services, and building enrollment. Once established the Director will work with the Executive Director and the Winston Online Head of School to oversee the operations, finances, and business of the Winston Online program.
Duties for the director will include managing Winston Online assets, optimizing financial operations, establishing and achieving enrollment goals, establishing and maintaining relationships and partnerships, investigating potential funding sources, advising the Executive Director on organizational activities, collaborating with the Winston Online Head of School to oversee and streamline daily operations, and executing special business projects. Your strategic marketing and planning skills as a director will aid in WPS promoting our mission and objectives, maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, achieving organizational goals, and maintaining sound financial practices.
Please submit a cover letter and resume to Elizabeth Mendelsohn, COO of Winston Preparatory School and Director of Winston Innovation Lab at wilemployment@winstonprep.edu.
