Advancement Services Manager
Beginning July 1, 2022 (potentially sooner)
Reporting to the Director of Institutional Advancement, the Advancement Services Manager supports the work of the Institutional Advancement office through constituent data systems, support of all fundraising efforts and communications, and departmental and Parents' Association events.
Advancement Data Systems:
- Oversight
- Manage constituent data across constituent database platforms, auditing data health, ensuring data integrity
- Create, modify, and document data management protocols, including interfacing with admissions and business offices to ensure accurate interdepartmental constituent information
- Ensure that database errors are promptly corrected and manage periodic “clean up” programs
- Planning and implementation
- Through regular communication with the Director of Institutional Advancement, Communications Director, and Tech Department, plan for and implement new software features to support expanding software capabilities. Enhance the use of Raiser’s Edge, NXT, and ResearchPoint.
- Reporting
- Modify existing reports, and create new reports and systematize benchmark reporting
- Prepare other reports and supporting documents (college lists, etc…) for alumni/ae communications
- Prepare reports as needed, such as the annual report
- Training
- Provide training and ongoing support for advancement staff
- Create step by step documentation and user protocols
Development and Parents Association:
- Fundraising
- Responsible for gift entry, gift acknowledgements, and pledge reminders
- Create monthly finance reconciliation reports
- Build moves management programs in Raiser’s Edge and NXT
- Manage following up with bounced email addresses and finding lost constituents
- Support the Director of Institutional Advancement as needed
- Research
- Research constituents using ResearchPoint and other systems and create constituent profiles for new and current constituents
- Identify and create new processes for donor research
- Advancement Events
- Manage all aspects of advancement events
- Oversee software management, create registration forms and manage event volunteers when needed
- Consult with set up and execution of the events
- Parents Association
- Support annual events to advance Town’s mission
- Collaborate with the Director of Advancement, Director of Communications, Operations and Parents’ Association to manage event logistics and coordination before and after events

Communications:
- Support the Director of Communications as needed
- Help create content for publications and communications
- Help manage Town’s external website
- Manage TownToday content
- Manage Town’s internal and external email communication
