Trinity School, a coeducational, college-preparatory independent day school, seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic head coach/sponsor for our very successful upper school speech and debate program for the 2022-2023 school year. This is a full-time position which includes classroom teaching in Speech and Debate and in additional areas of interest/expertise. Speech and Debate related duties include operating and managing Speech and Debate expenditures; organizing and planning trips to Speech and Debate competitions; coach, teach and advise student participants both formally in class and informally before, during or after school; chaperoning competitors on overnight trips; judging debate and speech rounds at tournaments; advising students during competition; and driving school vehicles to and from events.

Successful candidates should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.
- a background in communications or related field
- experience with speech and debate events and operations, prior experience as a Speech and Debate coach is preferred
- availability to travel and work weekend TFA tournaments during the regular season, September - April, as well as the NSDA Tournament in June for qualified students.
