Episcopal High School is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support and maintain the calendars for the Assistant Head for Academics, Dean of Faculty, Assistant Head for Student Life, and Director of Community & Equity. The Executive Assistant schedules and oversees arrangements for internal and external meetings for this group; maintains files and records as appropriate; and answers phones and directs phone calls to the appropriate office. Other duties include managing and providing support for various major ceremonies including, but not limited to, Community Meetings, Cum Laude, Faculty Orientation, and Commencement; assisting with the recruitment of Faculty to include posting for vacancies, tracking applicants, preparing interview schedules, and arranging accommodations and student tours; and preparing and maintaining various schedules, rosters and calendars including the Administrative Duty Officer (ADO) schedule, the Campus Supervisor schedule, and the Scholar in Residence visits. Other office duties include maintaining adequate supply of printer paper, blue books and loose-leaf paper; ordering office supplies when needed; and keeping the faculty lounge neat and orderly. Additional important tasks include recording and maintaining the following: faculty data, student leadership, candidate rosters, and Professional Development requests. The Executive Assistant is also called upon to make registration and travel arrangements for professional development activities for the group listed above.
Summary of Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in administrative areas or equivalent education and experience;
- Experience as an Executive Assistant is a plus;
- Strong written, verbal, and listening skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and organization skills with great attention to detail;
- Experience with Google Apps including, but not limited to, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar and Google Drive, etc. is preferred;
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite with a strong emphasis on Excel;
- Familiarity with office equipment such as personal computer, copier and scanner; and
- Successful completion of a criminal records background check.
