Position Summary The primary responsibilities of this position are to support the Upper School (Highschool) Principal in the administration and management of the Upper School. This position is not remote and works 12 months. The daily office hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manages the Upper School Principals' calendar and independently schedules appointments.
Screen incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.
Arranges and coordinates the Upper School functions and other events on the school calendar, conferences, and meeting requests.
Assist with website communications and admissions office requests.
Manages all aspects of obtaining substitute teacher coverage including timekeeping.
Supports student attendance protocols.
Communicate with faculty, parents, and students regarding concerns to be brought to the US principal.
Work to efficiently handle the daily functions of the Upper School office which includes the support of Upper School faculty requests.
Works cooperatively with other division's Administrative Assistants.
Able to work some evenings after office hours for parent events.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred; an Associate Degree is required; at least 3 years of working experience as an Administrative Assistant.
