Job Summary
We are seeking candidates for the full-time position of Middle School (5-8) Math and Spanish Teacher starting in August 2022. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the teaching of a course load that includes courses in grades 5 and 6 Mathematics and grades 6, 7, and 8 Spanish. This teacher will collaborate vertically with departmental colleagues as well as with other Middle School faculty to create student-centered experiences. Opportunities also exist for involvement in co-curricular activities such as coaching athletics or sponsoring student organizations
Desirable Characteristics
A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Spanish, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree and/or previous independent school experience.
