Rippowam Cisqua School seeks a qualified, full-time Middle School Math Teacher. 

Responsibilities for the position include:  

• Daily instruction of four sections of middle school math including but not limited to Algebra I and Geometry. 
• Participation and eager contributions to a grade level team including members of the academic support team. 
• Frequent communication with school administrators and student families about student progress and goals. 
• Beyond the classroom expectations include playing a role in student-focused programs such as advisory, coaching, and enrichment opportunities. 
• Ongoing participation in professional development and curricular design to ensure the implementation of a research-based and culturally responsive program. 

Requirements for the position include:  

• Math teaching experience at the middle or upper school level. 
• A degree in a related field (Masters preferred). 
• A commitment to anti-bias and anti-racism work both inside and outside the classroom as well as promoting an inclusive, just, and equitable school community. 
• A strong understanding of cognitive and social development for children of this age. 
• A passion for instruction and assessment practices particularly in research-based practices. 
• A desire to design and implement interdisciplinary curriculum, project work and anti-bias curriculum. 
• A joyful disposition, genuine sense of humor, intellectual curiosity, flexibility, and a sincere interest in being part of a team.
