The Department of Auxiliary Services is seeking an experienced professional to join it’s team which manages a number of programs including before and after school programs, enrichment programs, childcare, and a successful summer day camp that serves over 600 campers annually.

This is a full-time exempt position. Monday - Friday, expected hours 9am-6pm with some flexibility. Hours are subject to change in the summer to meet program needs. There is some evening and weekend work included and some longer days, as needed.
This leadership opportunity requires someone energetic, personable, collaborative, flexible, and able to adapt to the needs of multiple programs operating simultaneously. The successful applicant will bring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, summer employees, and colleagues throughout the school. A passion for customer service and working with children of a variety of ages is a must. This person must be well-organized and be able to prioritize in order to meet deadlines, as well as multi-task on a regular basis. The successful applicant will have the capacity to communicate clearly and effectively, orally and in writing, be a team player, demonstrate an ability to take initiative, as well as work independently and collaboratively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Summer Day Camp (Program Hours 8am-6pm)
- Create promotional materials for the Summer Day Camp
- Participate in development and execution of marketing plan
- Assist in summer website development and maintenance
- Assist in development of advertising and promotional materials
- Implement marketing strategies on various platforms
- Support all aspects of the summer registration process, including database configuration
- Recruit, interview and hire seasonal summer staff
- Collect and maintain paperwork and files for campers and seasonal staff
- Assist in creating and implementing summer camp orientation/training
- Assist in creating and updating annual program budgets
- Organize and manage supply purchasing
- Communication with participating families pre-season and during summer
- Coordinate with planning master schedules
- Communication with other departments of the school regarding operations and needs for Summer Programs
- Assist the Director of Auxiliary Services to ensure all licenses, insurance and other necessary documents have been submitted, retained, filed, and are in good standing
Before and After School/ Enrichment Programs (Before School 7am-8am, After School 2pm-6pm)
- Create and maintain extended day and enrichment registration
- Recruit, interview and hire staff
- Creation and implementation of on-going review of staff
- Assist in creating and implementing of policies and procedures regarding day-to-day operations
- Creation and implementation of daily schedule and programming
- Coordinate locations for after-school enrichment classes
- Assist in creating and implementing program budget(s)
- Work closely with Division Heads, teachers, and other staff regarding students, facilities, etc.
- Order and manage supplies and snack, as needed
- As needed, provide on-site oversight of students/staff
- As needed, oversee day-to-day operations including communicating with parents, staff and participants
Year Round Auxiliary Programs
- Office Administration
- Actively engage in on-going office tasks including:
- Online Database, e-mail, phone, etc.
- Website updates
- Database maintenance
- Student billing/invoicing
- Enrollment tracking
- Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Assist and Support Other Departments On an As Needed Basis
- Assist other departments with organizational, clerical or otherwise defined administrative needs.
- Attend G&A meetings scheduled by the Head of School
- Perform other duties as requested by the Head of School, Director of Finance and Operations and/or Director of Auxiliary Services
Other responsibilities may be added or needed as determined by the Director of Auxiliary Services.

Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in work experience
- A minimum of 5 years working in youth development, camp or educational settings
- Some management level experience is preferred
- Experience directly supervising staff
- Experience managing and implementing programming
- Strong understanding of youth development or educational programming
- Experience working directly with children and families
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, database systems and other technological tools
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift boxes/materials of 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk around a 26-acre, outdoor campus and buildings
- Ability to sit and interact with children on the floor, playground, grass
- Ability to identify and quickly respond to emergencies
- Ability to withstand daily exposure to weather and the elements
- Ability to work 10+ hours days, when needed
