Bullis School seeks an energetic and dedicated candidate for the role of Registrar. The Registrar works closely with the Assistant Head of Upper School for Academics and the Dean of Academic Advising and is responsible for the overall coordination of the Upper School student information system. More specific duties include coordinating course registration, overseeing student records, and building the master schedule. The registrar is also responsible for running grades and comments as well as the final report card and student files. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver and detail-oriented with exceptional communication skills.

Qualities of an Bullis Registrar

- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills with parents, students, and faculty
- Excellent written communication skills, including spelling, punctuation and grammar, as well as composition and editing of correspondence and memos
- Proven ability to maintain accurate detailed records with excellent organizational and filing skills, both paper-based and electronic
- Commitment and knowledge to work with groups of diverse individuals in respectful, equitable, and inclusive ways
- Good cheer, humor, and warmth, balanced by professionalism and sound judgment
- Detail-oriented, with the capacity to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks and demands on attention
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma
- Facile with technology and comfortable with information systems; high competency in Veracross, Canvas, Excel, Google apps and other software programs as needed
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Prior experience working in a school setting
