About St. Anselm's Abbey School - Washington, DC
St. Anselm's Abbey School is an independent, Catholic, Benedictine school serving academically motivated young men in grades 6 through 12. Founded in 1942 by Benedictine monks, the school is located on the 40-acre grounds of St. Anselm's Abbey in Northeast Washington. St. Anselm's serves approximately 250 students and employs over 60 faculty and staff. The student body is comprised of thirty-seven percent students of color, and the average SAT score for the Class of 2021 is over 1400.
