Westover School is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Director of Library and Archives, beginning in late August 2022 for the 2022-23 academic year. The ideal candidate possesses a masters degree in library sciences with a certification in archival work and a minimum of 5 years of experience in one or both areas.
Responsibilities:

Develops library media center (LMC) goals with input from faculty, students, and administrators focused on meeting the needs of all community members in accordance with Westover’s Mission and Vision for Belonging and Justice

Manages the accessioning, arrangement, description and preservation of The Maria Randall Allen ‘42 Archives at Westover School in accordance with professional standards and guided by the School’s Mission and Vision for Belonging and Justice.

Evaluates, organizes, inventories and acquires resources for the library to support the program

Functions as the information literacy/ media teacher for the school

Assist administration, faculty, students, staff, alumnae, classes and others with research involving the Archives
