Kirby School, a highly respected 6th through 12th grade independent college preparatory school in Santa Cruz, is seeking a full-time Business and Development Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, experienced professional to join a highly respected educational institution.
Overview of Position
The primary responsibility of the Business and Development Administrator is to support the Business Manager and Advancement Director with data entry and integrity. Reports to the Business Manager and Advancement Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gift processing in Raiser’s Edge including:
- Gift entry
- Reporting
- Acknowledgements
- Reconciliation
- Database updates in Raiser’s Edge
- Vendor payments in Quickbooks Enterprise : ensuring responsible party has coded and approved invoices prior to processing
- Cash receipts (tuition and donations) via check, credit card, and Paypal into Quickbooks Enterprise
- Monthly reconciliations with HR, bank accounts, and between Development and Business Office
- Oversee Student Billing and follow up on outstanding amounts due and inquiries
Qualifications:
- Desired: Bilingual competency (Spanish preferred)
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively in an academic atmosphere
- Experience with Quickbooks Enterprise or other Quickbooks Desktop for PC
- Experience with CRM or fundraising software; preferably Raiser’s Edge
- Good attitude with clear analytical thinking
- Excellent time management skill
