Lakeside School, an independent 5-12 coeducational day school located in North Seattle, is recruiting for an Admissions and Financial Aid Administrative Support Staff, a part-time, seasonal staff position within the admissions and financial aid team. This position joins an eight-person team that holds itself to the highest standards in outreach, evaluation and assessment, financial aid stewardship, and customer service. This role provides critical assistance to the office's operations, helping with the admissions process and event planning and execution.
Responsibilities
Admissions Support
- Preparing digital and hardcopy materials to mail for admissions and enrollment processes
- Answering the phone and checking and returning voicemail and phone calls during office hours
- Monitoring the admissions email inbox and promptly responding to or forwarding messages to the appropriate people
- Partnering with the Admissions and Financial Aid Operations Coordinator to review and upload application materials submitted to our digital application platform, Ravenna, including report cards, teacher evaluations, administrator forms, personal reference forms, and test scores
Outreach Event Support
- Partnering with the Admissions and Financial Aid Operations Coordinator to plan and successfully execute fall and winter admissions and financial aid events, including open houses, parent/guardian panels, student panels, and outreach events as agreed upon by the admissions and financial aid team

Requirements and Qualifications
- Impeccable written, verbal, phone, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Experience with MS Office and Google Suite
- Satisfactory completion of two criminal history background checks.
Additional Information
- This is a 12-hour per week, seasonal position that requires the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends including school breaks.
- This position requires significant time at a workstation on a computer. A hybrid arrangement of some days in the office and some days working from home may be possible.
- This position requires the ability to move between the Middle School and Upper School campuses, approximately 0.3 miles.
- This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials, displays, and equipment up to approximately 25lbs.
