Responsible for providing helpdesk support for Information Services.
- Manage asset Inventory for the School’s devices.
- Support Audio/Visual Events during and after work hours and some weekends.
- Walk users through problem-solving steps.
- Train computer users.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- Must possess strong organization skills.
- Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
- Ability to communicate efficiently written and verbally.
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Mac OS environments.
- Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners.
- Fundamental understanding of TCP\IP (e.g., DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting.
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Customer-driven attitude (courteous, responsive, and thorough).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Information Technology Certification (e.g., A+, Security +, MCSA, etc.) Experience with knowledge in an IS Help Desk and customer service support experience is a plus.
