Position:
- Full-time position available (40 hours per week)
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
- Pre-Primary classroom
- 10-month contract (August 2022-June 2023)
- Salary commensurate with experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required (degree in early childhood education preferred)
- Meets qualifications for licensure in Ohio or educational aide certification
- Proven ability to work with young children(minimum 3 years teaching experience preferred)
- Perform essential functions of the position which include the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, balance, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Commitment to the school’s virtues, mission, and professional standards
- Strong classroom management skills
- Clear understanding of high-quality teaching and learning
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to be a visible and involved participant in and supporter of the school community
- Skill and comfort working collaboratively and productively with all constituencies within the school community
- Experience collaborating with colleagues around lesson development, classroom management, student assessment, differentiation, etc.
- Certifications in First Aid, CPR, Communicable Disease, Child Abuse, and the ODE Orientation Training for Preschool and School Age Child Care (SACC) Staff Members
