Princeton Charter School seeks a dynamic sixth grade English teacher.  Our English classes are intentionally small — approximately 18 students per class — in middle school.  The sixth grade English teacher teaches 3 sections of sixth grade and proctors a study hall, reading period, and has other duties throughout the day.  We are passionate about teaching writing, engaging students with sophisticated texts, being inclusive, and learning the foundations of grammar and usage.  

Qualified candidates will have a B.A. in the humanities and be able to meet the requirements of the New Jersey Department of Education's teacher certification program.  We recognize that teachers from independent schools have valuable skills and we will work with candidates to attain NJ Teacher Certification under the alternate route program.  Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years teaching experience.
