General Job Description:
St. Anne’s Episcopal School, a preschool through 8th grade co-educational day school situated on a beautiful, 125-acre, rural campus in Middletown, Delaware seeks a Technology Integration Specialist. Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Technology Integration Specialist promotes the use of technologies to support student achievement in the K-8 classroom. The Technology Integration Specialist provides staff development and instructional support to all instructional and administrative staff. In addition, the Technology Integration Specialist serves as IT support for administrators and teachers. The Technology Integration Specialist develops and offers technology education for teachers and administrative staff. He/she also assists in the development and implementation of curriculum and technology integration projects. The Technology Integration Specialist provides instructional staff with the essential support needed to complete technology-based instructional management and productivity functions. The Technology Integration Specialist collaborates with appropriate instructional and technical staff to support, manage, optimize the use of instructional software, and network resources to support quality teaching and learning. The Technology Integration Specialist will teach Middle School Computer Science. This skilled professional works independently and collaboratively with colleagues.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supports teachers as they implement technology-infused lessons in their classrooms.
- Promotes the role of technology instruction.
- Articulates appropriate instructional technology practices for students and teachers.
- Provides assistance and training to instructional staff in the integration of technology to support student achievement. This includes planning and implementing job-embedded professional development and workshops for individuals and groups. Collaborates in the evaluation, selection and implementation of instructional technology materials and software.
- Gathers and disseminates information (e.g. grants, policies, professional development opportunities) relevant to instructional technology.
- Provides technical Hardware and Software support.
- Instructs Computer Science classes for Middle School Students.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with supervision of students during arrival and dismissal as needed.
- Serve on faculty committees.
- Engage regularly in opportunities for professional growth and model a growth mindset, developing professionally through further education, reading, workshops, and/or conferences.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education required.
- At least three years of successful full-time experience as a classroom teacher
- Experience providing professional development for teachers or other adults in the integration of technology for instruction and productivity preferred.

Physical Requirements: Regularly sit, turn, bend, reach, stand, walk, talk, hear, and interact with campus visitors as well as with others. Must have the ability to understand and present materials and communicate with constituents and co-workers in a harmonious manner. Must be able to lift 25lbs.
