POSITION OVERVIEW
Provide comprehensive administrative support to Grades 9-10 Division leadership; support school-wide events, programs and administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Provide a full range of administrative support including clerical, inventory management, document proofing, phone calls and messages, calendaring, and electronic messaging for the Grades 9/10 Division leadership and all related programming.

Proactively manage various pieces of the division leadership team’s portfolio, including workflows, communications, databases and other applications, reporting, event planning, projects, communications, etc.

Support teachers and students in attendance record-keeping and reporting. Provide bi-weekly updates of student attendance to the leadership team. Communicate with parents regarding student absences and other student attendance records.

Support off-hours and off-campus programming and special events, i.e. Back to School Night, Graduation, Open House, Siyyum, Welcome Event, Welcome Back Bash, school trips, retreats etc.

Interact and problem-solve with students and parents regarding communication with faculty and leadership, forms that need to be completed, meetings requested, transition into and out of the 9-10 division.

Support the Tiferet Israel Fellowship program which is a semester abroad program for the 10th grade class.

Support 10th grade experiential learning, including social action and the annual trip.

Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Four years of experience as an administrative assistant in a school setting or equivalent.

Proficiency with Mac, Google Workplace, standard office equipment.

Experience working independently and as a highly collaborative team player.

Experience operating with and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Experience planning, prioritizing and leveraging strong organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people/roles.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work in an office environment with frequent interruptions.

Other related duties as assigned.
