The Wardlaw+Hartridge School, located in Edison, New Jersey, seeks a collegial, engaging teacher who finds fascination in teaching adolescents in grade 9-12. The position includes sections of Upper School English and trimester electives that best align with the candidate’s experience and departmental needs including the possibility of AP classes (AP Literature or AP Language). We seek an experienced educator who is adept at using literature to explore essential questions and equip students with skills to think critically, read deeply, and write effectively. Those with a strong commitment to working as part of a thoughtful and reflective team are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree and two or more years of teaching experience. A Master’s degree is preferred.
