Columbus School for Girls seeks to hire an Assistant Director of Admissions. This is a full-time, twelve-month position reporting directly to the Director of Enrollment Management. Major Functions and Responsibilities:
- Recruit, select and enroll mission-appropriate students
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective families
- Conduct parent meetings and coordinate student visits
- Plan and execute CSG admission events and represent CSG at local community events
- Manage the evaluation and selection of applicants’ admission
- Partner with faculty to support the transition of new students and the retention of current students
The Assistant Director will represent the school and must be able to:
- Articulate the value of independent school education in an all-girls environment
- Communicate genuinely and in a polished manner, both verbally and in writing
- Create and implement systems that require organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently
- Engage collaboratively with colleagues, prospective families, and community partners
- Demonstrate these essential qualities: a positive attitude, creativity, and flexibility
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preference will be given to candidates with independent school or college admissions knowledge
- Strong orientation toward customer service
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
