Mission: The Hudson School provides intellectually inquisitive students in grades 5-12 with a rigorous and relevant college-preparatory education that inspires independent thinking and intellectual risk-taking. Class: Middle School French Class, level to be determined by the experience of the candidate. All World Language classes are taught in the immersion method. Classes are 40 minutes per day, Monday through Thursday. The class will either meet from 1:45-2:25 or 2:30-3:10.
Responsibilities: French teachers are responsible for the development, implementation, and progression of The Hudson School world language intensive immersion curriculum.

A successful candidate will possess the following characteristics and experiences:
- Ability to work with students in multi-aged groups
- Belief that all students can achieve at the highest academic level
- Recognize individual student learning needs and develop strategies to address those needs
- Able to meet often to collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure student progress
- Native speaker
- 2-3 years of teaching experience in an immersion language environment
