About Léman:
Léman Manhattan Preparatory School was established in the heart of downtown in 2005 to bring a new vision to New York City's K-12 independent school landscape — one defined by global context, personalized learning, and innovation. Throughout our history, we have built a strong school community recognized not only for exceptional academic outcomes, teaching excellence, and international diversity, but a genuine warmth felt from the moment you step through our front door.
Nestled in the heart of New York’s most historic neighborhood, the Financial District, Léman Manhattan Preparatory School enrolls nearly 700 students ages 12 months to 12th grade with an inquiry-based, globally minded curriculum. Léman is NYC’s first and only boarding school and only independent school that offers programs for young toddlers through high school students. As an International Baccalaureate World School, Léman offers rigorous academics in an international, diverse and inclusive setting. Our community represents more than 100 nationalities.
Léman offers an attractive benefits program including health, dental, vision, retirement and tuition remission, as well as generous PTO including major holidays, school breaks, and additional vacation and personal days. Our dedicated and compassionate people, unparalleled facilities, daily chef-prepared lunch, fitness center and pools, and comprehensive benefits package make Léman an engaging and rewarding place to find community and build a career.
