Marshall School seeks a dynamic and versatile educator to teach mathematics to upper school students. The successful candidate will possess a love of adolescents, a passion for mathematics, and a commitment to student-centered education. Marshall’s collaborative, student-centered environment requires a strong desire to work closely with students and colleagues in and out of the classroom. In addition to teaching upper level math classes that could include Computer Science, Algebra, Algebra 2, Pre-calculus, AP Calculus, and AP Statistics. The successful candidate will also advise a small group of students overseeing academic progress, providing support and encouragement, and helping plan and ensure progress in grade-level programs. Marshall teachers support the school’s mission emphasizing global citizenship, academic habits, and core values and play a significant role in developing curriculum and programs. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree and experience preferred.
