Connelly School of the Holy Child is a Catholic, college preparatory school, committed to the intellectual, spiritual, artistic, physical, and social development of young women in grades 6 through 12. Holy Child is looking for a part-time sales associate to run the school store, Tiger Shop, during the summer.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumnae with uniform and spirit merchandise needs and questions with a positive attitude and helpful disposition.
- Become familiar with the Holy Child Uniform Guidelines and provide recommendations according to customer needs or preferences.
- Keeps the Tiger Shop clean, organized, and safe.
- Operates cash register and handles cash payments and credit card processing.
- Handles sales, refunds, exchanges and returns.
- Runs sale and tax reports monthly for Business Office.
- Order new uniform and merchandise items as needed to ensure inventory does not run out.
- Train, schedule, and manage parent volunteers.
- Clover (in-store system)
- Manage inventory levels through Clover.
- Keep Clover inventory data up to date and in line with best practices.
- Work within Clover to produce barcodes and ensure all items have barcodes.
- Use Clover to handle checking out customers and performing exchanges and returns.
- Shopify (online system)
- Maintain and update online store complete with photos and descriptions of items.
- Manage online orders and pack orders as they come in for pick-up.
- Ensure Shopify information is up to date, correct, and reflects current inventory numbers.
Additional Information: Hours are typically Monday-Thursday 9:00am-2:00pm.
