Princeton Day School is looking for an enthusiastic leader and positive role-model to join our Physical Education and Athletics Department. Our PE teacher and coach is responsible for creating and teaching classes, primarily at the Lower and Middle School levels, to a diverse group of students who are eager to learn. We are looking for a strong coach who is experienced and has the capacity to lead multiple Middle School athletic teams.
Responsibilities: - Teaching physical education classes, primarily in the Lower School and Middle Schools.
- Serving as a Middle School coach in all three seasons.
- Working cooperatively with other physical education teachers in planning and implementing a comprehensive physical education program.
- Establishing and maintaining standards of excellence for supervision and student engagement.
- Collaborating with classroom teachers and administration as needed regarding social, emotional, and physical development of students.
- Ensuring that the curriculum and lessons are designed to meet the needs of multiple levels of skill and a wide range of learners.
- Flexibility working in a wide variety of settings and shared facilities.

Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science and/or Health is preferred. Physical education teaching experience is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with faculty team members are of paramount importance.
- Excellent communication and technology skills.
CPR certification and first aid training are required.
