St. Stephens & St Agnes School seeks a long-term substitute in our Middle School English Department. Anticipated coverage is between the middle of October 2019 - early January 2020. This position entails teaching three 8th grade sections, one 6th grade section, and serving as an advisor.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in English or a related field and will have experience teaching English. The ideal candidate is interested in working closely with adolescents and being a part of a warm and supportive school community. The ideal candidate will tailor instruction to individuals' needs, evaluate student progress and provide feedback in a timely manner, promote individual growth and independent thought, and create a positive learning environment.
