The part-time Enrollment Assistant is responsible for supporting the Manager of Enrollment Operations with the administration of the admission, enrollment and tuition assistance program at The Baldwin School. The part-time Enrollment Assistant will provide support to Enrollment staff, maintaining and communicating information on inquiry, applicant and current students and will serve as a point of contact for those applying for financial aid. The role coordinates and manages tasks associated with the collection of required documents for families applying for admission and financial aid, actively communicating with families, as well as internal stakeholders. The part-time Enrollment Assistant will provide support to the Manager of Enrollment Operations with the generation of daily and weekly recruitment, enrollment, and financial aid reports. In addition, the part-time Enrollment Assistant will participate in the preparation of targeted and personalized communication plans in support of enrollment initiatives. This position plays a critical role within the Enrollment Management Office – a commitment to collaboration and cooperation is essential.
Essential Functions:
- Manage Student Information System (Blackbaud) and support enrollment management reporting needs.
- Support all aspects of admission and financial aid application processes including collection of required credentials, data entry, status changes and maintenance of records for prospective and returning families.
- Maintain the integrity and security of admission, enrollment and financial aid data, including transfer of data from various sources. Liaise with internal stakeholders, maintaining credentials, records and reports.
- Maintain active communication with prospective and returning families seeking tuition assistance.
- Manage all functions associated with targeted and personalized enrollment communication.
- Promote open communication with Database Administrator, Business Office, and other key school members to ensure system/data integrity, timely response to requests, etc.
- Assist with enrollment events
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Effort/Environment:
- General office and campus environment. Duties require employee to interact with parents and other internal and external constituencies. Sitting, walking, standing, bending, twisting and occasional lifting required. Computer usage involving repetitive hand/wrist motion necessary.
Miscellaneous:
- A criminal background check is required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ability to work remotely and in-person, as needed
- Proficient in data collection, manipulation, and reporting
- Proficient in Google Workplace and Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel. Experience with Blackbaud, School and Student Services (SSS), Constant Contact preferred but not required
- Highly motivated with strong communication and organizational skills; attentive to detail; ability to work in fast paced environment and manage requests in timely manner, while maintaining quality control. Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Availability some nights and weekends for events as needed
- The ability to hold information in confidence and to set appropriate limits with families and colleagues
